Delphine Hennelly a obtenu son baccalauréat en beaux-arts de Cooper Union en 2002 et sa maîtrise en beaux-arts de la Mason Gross School of Visual Arts à l’Université Rutgers au New Jersey en 2017. En tant que peintre et dessinatrice, Delphine Hennelly explore la figuration en utilisant principalement le corps féminin. Elle a été trois fois lauréate du prix de la fondation Elizabeth Greenshields. Ses présentations récentes comprennent What a Day!, une exposition de groupe chez Everyday Mooonday (Séoul, Corée) ; Fluuuuuido, une exposition des groupe commissariée par Edoardo Monti présentée à Cassina Projects (Milano, Italie) ; une participation à Platform, de David Zwirner ; ainsi que le solo Beguiling Tedious Hours chez Pangée (Montréal, Canada). En novembre 2022, elle aura un solo chez CARVALHO PARK (New York City, États-Unis). Elle était récemment en résidence au Palazzo Monti (Brescia, Italie). Elle vit et travaille à Montréal et est représentée par Pangée.
